Why Should You Care.....
We are asked lots of times about board top and mdf top pool tables and whether they are worth the money. Our answer is always the same - Buy cheap and you will buy twice. Pool Tables are traditionally made using a slate bed for a reason. Slate is true and level and, provided the table itself supplies adequate support, will remain true for longer than you are alive.
The same cannot be said about board top pool tables. Some board top tables are such poor quality that they are warped before they are even delivered to client's houses. So, whilst you might think that a board top pool table is an option, if you want a pool table that is playable for anything more than 12 months - then think again - buy slate......
